Chemical Engineer

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Chemical Engineer to drive innovation in polyurethane materials. In this pivotal role, you'll leverage your expertise in chemical processes and engineering principles to spearhead projects that challenge the status quo. Focused on practical solutions, you will lead efforts in designing, optimizing, and refining chemistry and processes to unveil pioneering products. Your goal will be to transform inventive concepts into tangible, eco-friendly, and efficient market solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize chemical processes and equipment for new and existing projects.
- Design and conduct tests on polyurethane materials and analyze data to improve products and process efficiency.
- Collaborate with our engineering team to integrate chemical processes with mechanical, electrical, and other system requirements.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards in all engineering practices.
- Utilize simulation software for process modeling and optimization of chemical formulations.
- Participate in the scale-up of laboratory processes to pilot and production scales.
- Prepare technical reports, patents, project proposals, and presentations.
- Stay abreast of technological advancements and industry trends in chemical engineering, polyurethane materials, and related fields.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
- 5 years of experience in chemical engineering.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Innovative thinking. Thinking outside the box for novel solutions to complex formulation and processing problems.

Industrial Products Operator

Individual mold operation in IP department.

Mold Tech

Mold set up and lifting of heavy molds in Footwear department.  ($1.50 uprate once certified.)

Turntable Operator

Pulls shoe soles from molds and wipes molds.  ($1.00 uprate once certified.)

Utility Worker (Packer, Trimmer, Operator)

1st Shift – 6 am to 4pm  |  2nd Shift – 4pm to 2am

Inspect and pack shoe soles in boxes to ship, prep molds, and pull shoe soles from molds in Footwear department.
