Our History

Founded in 1962 by the father-son team of Harold and Robert Dieckhaus, Meramec Group has become the leader in integral-skin polyurethane technology. From the outset, we have earned a reputation for meeting the demands of even the most challenging projects while consistently delivering your products on time and to your specifications.

As the second-generation leader, Tom Dieckhaus championed growth through diversification. Under his guidance, Meramec became a global supplier of footwear components, expanding beyond polyurethane to offer puncture-resistant textiles (L-Protection®) and engineered woven uppers (Perspair®). These innovations deliver advanced solutions for improved safety and performance in footwear. Additionally, our state-of-the-art mixing facility in the USA is equipped to provide polyurethane systems for a wide range of industries.
